论文摘要: A perchery system with large cage aviary unit is considered as welfare friendly for laying hen, while its poor air quality is typically reported for higher concentration of indoor gases and particulate matter (PM) as well as other contaminants compared with conventional cages. In this paper, a portable measuring device was developed to real-time monitor the concentrations of PM2.5, PM10 and total suspended particulate (TSP). During the field measurement, six sampling locations were distributed inside the laying hen barn with perchery system and one was set outside; meanwhile, Anderson eight stage non-viable impactors were installed inside the barn to collect the samples for particle size distribution (PSD) analysis. Results showed that TSP concentration averaged 1921.9±1912.8 μg/m3 in the perchery system, and no statistical difference on the level was found compared with published values from conventional cage production system. Average PM2.5 and PM10 mass concentrations were 37.2± 25.3 μg/m3and 47.3± 31.2 μg/m3, which were even lower than cage system. Particle concentration increased from the beginning of the experiment in October to the end in December, due to less ventilation as weather getting colder. Count median diameter (CMD) and geometric standard deviation (GSD)of the PMs during the measurement were 1.80 μm and 1.65, respectively, and different position showed no significance on CMD and GSD. Result indicated that this perchery system had a similar PM environment, TSP in particular, as the conventional production system.  Keywords.
